The Simpsons: Tapped Out Review

The American game developer Electronic Arts or more famously known as EA released a new  city building game for the iOS and the Android market, The Simpsons: Tapped Out. The game, of course as the name suggests, is about the famous Simpsons characters.

Story Line:
It starts of with a small animation clip in which Homer is playing the  "old and boring" city making games on his device while working at the Nuclear Power Plant. While playing the game, he forgets to do his job which leads to a nuclear explosion in Springfield. This destroys the whole town and everybody disappears. Homer (Now we play him) has to rebuild the town all over again to find all his friends and family who live in Springfield.

The graphics are amazing, they give crisp detail to each and everything that we see. The gameplay is superb, we can control each and every character we find and make them do things, we can put any building where ever we want. The game is a Freemium, which means that there are in-game payments too. We sometimes require donuts to fasten things up as some building take a very long time to get built. We have to level up to get new things and new buildings. We also get many objectives, which gives us cash (for the game) when fulfilled. The game gets updated from time to time and new updates mostly bring something new to the game, like new characters and levels.
Overall, the game is good, but without buying the donuts for real money, the game would take a lot of time to complete. The notifications also get really irritating after some time. The game progresses very slowly and this could possibly make the boring really very soon. It also requires a constant WiFi or a data connection to play. I would recommend this app to anyone who loves The Simpsons as this game gives us a chance to make our very own Springfield.
