The Asus padfone infinity is finally announced at the Mobile World Congress following the Padfone lineup. The device packs some killer specs but is it worth the price of around $1325 for a phone tablet combo?
The padfone infinity features a 5 inch 1920 x 1080 resolution screen on the phone and a 10.1 inch 1920 x 1200 resolution for the tablet. It packs in a 1.7 Ghz Snapdragon 600 CPU and an Adreno 320 GPU coupled with 2 GB of RAM.
The padfone packs in a 13 MP rear camera and a 2 MP front facing camera. The phone has a 2400 mah battery and the plus point of the phone is that while docked in the infinity station, the padfone gives you a pleasant usage of upto 40 hrs. It is available in 32 and 64 GB variants.
As far as software is concerned, it packs the latest version of android i.e 4.2 jellybean so no need to worry about the software. It also provides you with the latest connectivity options i.e EDGE, GPRS, GSM, WCDMA, HSPA+, 4G LTE, and offers bluetooth 4.0, NFC, WIFI and Glonass.
The tablet is definitely great considering the price it offers but the factor that lets it down is the price which goes all the way to $1325 considering that it will not be available in the US markets and you'll need to get it online through a retailer.
